Overview
The Rusty Pilot Training course is designed for pilots who have been away from flying for an extended period and aims to refresh their skills and knowledge in a structured environment. This course provides a comprehensive review of essential flying concepts, regulations, and safety practices, ensuring that participants regain their confidence in handling an aircraft. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on flight training, pilots will reacquaint themselves with the operational aspects of flying, including navigation, communication, and emergency procedures. By the end of the course, participants will feel prepared and competent to resume flying, reinforcing their commitment to safety and proficiency in the cockpit.
This course includes 4 flight and 4 ground lessons covering the following areas:
- Ground operations
- Take offs and landings
- Slow flight, stalls, and spin awareness
- Ground reference maneuvers
- Navigation
- Emergency procedures and ADM
- Any other flight subject areas based on the pilots needs
Upon completion this course will also provide a flight review endorsement.

* If you own and aircraft you can accomplish a instrument proficiency check in your aircraft for the cost of the instructor ($75.00 per hour) as long as the following conditions are met.
